Due to the overwhelming response to our school supply drive, we invite our YLD members to join us for free at the end of the summer cocktail celebration.

Please join us for a Happy Hour sponsored by the Federal Bar Association Younger Lawyers Division. This is a great opportunity to meet other young lawyers in Chicago and learn about the FBA Younger Lawyers Division.

“Younger Lawyers” includes those attorneys who have been in practice for 10 years or less, or who are 40 years of age or younger.

Your free registration includes one drink. Appetizers will also be provided.

School Supply Donations

The school supplies benefit students at Legal Prep Charter Academy on the west side of Chicago. Each school supply package contains the essential supplies selected by the school for the students, that many students cannot afford.  With your help, each student will start the school year with a new set of essential supplies.

Milton Gordon Award

At the event, the FBA will be presenting the annual Milton Gordon Award for distinguished federal government service by an attorney under the age 40 or in practice for ten years or less. The award is given in the name of the late Milton Gordon, a distinguished attorney who spent his career in service to state and local governments.
