Please join the Federal Bar Association’s Chicago Chapter for the election and installation of its 2023-2024 officers and directors. This popular annual event hosts hundreds of federal judges and practitioners from Chicago and surrounding communities.

Mayor Brandon Johnson will provide welcome remarks and the Hon. Diane S. Sykes, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, will give the annual keynote address.

Carol Marin

We are pleased to welcome renowned journalist Carol Marin as our keynote speaker. Carol Marin is one of Chicago’s most honored and respected journalists of all time. Marin spent 48 years as a legendary TV newscaster and currently is the co-director of the Center for Journalism Integrity and Excellence at DePaul University, which she co-founded in 2016. Marin has been the recipient of every major award in broadcast journalism, including three George Foster Peabody awards and two National Emmys. We look forward to gathering together in person to hear her expert insights and industry knowledge.
