The Federal Bar Association-Chicago Chapter is pleased to bring our members and guests a special report from Oren Segal, long-time head of the Anti-Defamation League’s renowned Center on Extremism, on the resurgence of extremist groups in America. Fueled by the proliferation of conspiracy theories, disinformation and hate on the internet and in the real world, adherents to these groups and movements pose a national threat, as recognized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

A national authority on America’s extremist groups, Mr. Segal regularly appears on national broadcast media, such as 60 Minutes and National Public Radio.
