Lauren Cohn

Lauren Cohn, Senior Attorney, Axiom Legal Solutions and former Senior Counsel-Employment Law, Walgreen Co. Ms. Cohn collaborated with Senior Leadership, Operations, and the Company’s Business Partners to provide legal counsel and guidance consistent with strategic business objectives. She managed an extensive caseload of employment litigation across the country, including providing expertise in restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation combined with business acumen for sound executive decision making.

Prior to joining Axiom and Walgreens, Ms. Cohn enjoyed a successful career as an employment and labor law litigator for Keating Muething & Klekamp, PPL, a Cincinnati- based law firm. There she represented management in a wide range of employment law matters, working with well-known corporate brands.  An experienced litigator, Ms. Cohn has effectively litigated cases in state and federal court, as well as argued before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Cohn received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison and her law degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Ohio and Illinois, and is a Co-Chair of the Programming Committee for the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law.  She is also an active member of the North Shore Labor Council, American Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. She has been invited to speak at various bar and professional events.

Mike Wexler

Mr. Wexler is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office and Chair of the national Trade Secrets, Computer Fraud & Non-Competes Practice Group.  His practice focuses on trial work and counseling in the areas of trade secrets and restrictive covenants, corporate espionage, unfair competition, complex commercial disputes, intellectual property infringement and white collar criminal defense in both federal and state courts.

A former state prosecutor, Mr. Wexler’s extensive investigatory experience and considerable jury trial practice enables him to advise clients with regard to potential disputes and represent clients through and including a determination of their rights at trial.  Mr. Wexler has successfully obtained and defended temporary restraining orders and preliminary and permanent injunctions in several jurisdictions.  He has represented clients in the insurance, securities, finance, banking, transportation, manufacturing, technology, pharmaceuticals, advertising, real estate, employment, medical equipment and computer industries throughout the United States. He is available to assist with patent litigation and other litigation involving complex technology.  Mr. Wexler is also a member of the Firm’s Administrative Committee and Lawyer  Development Committee.
