Young lawyers, summer associates, interns and law students are invited to this award-winning free virtual CLE seminar! This is a “not to miss” program for any younger lawyer who practices in federal court or would like to develop skills in written and oral advocacy.
First, Judge Matthew Kennelly will hear oral argument by video conference in two pending cases from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Seminar participants will be able to observe the arguments. After the oral arguments, Judge Kennelly will lead a panel discussion from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM among U.S. District Judges Sharon Johnson Coleman and Manish Shah and U.S. Magistrate Judge Gabriel Fuentes. The Judges will discuss best practices in written and oral advocacy, and offer their advice to the younger lawyers and law students.
